Privacy Policy
This draft policy explains what information I'm open 2 collects, how we use it, and the choices users have. It is written to match the current product and should be reviewed by counsel before broad launch.

1. Who We Are
I'm open 2 is operated by Arbitrary Systems LLC. This Privacy Policy applies to our website, app, communications, support channels, and related services.
2. Information We Collect
We collect account information such as your name, email address, authentication details, email verification status, theme preference, notification settings, subscription status, and other settings you choose.
We collect product information needed to run the service, including circles, circle membership, invites, Pulse text, availability windows, Echos, Not this time responses, Sync details, late join requests, blocking and mute settings, feedback submissions, and admin/support records.
We may collect technical information such as IP address, device and browser information, log data, error data, security events, cookies or similar identifiers, and approximate timing of app activity.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to create and secure accounts, verify email addresses, route Pulses to selected circles, show Echos and Syncs, process invites, manage blocking and notification preferences, provide support, prevent abuse, troubleshoot errors, improve the service, and comply with legal obligations.
We do not operate an advertising-supported business model, and we do not sell access to a public social feed. You are in charge. There is no algorithm deciding what should matter to you.
4. Visibility Inside the Service
Pulses are shown to the circles selected by the pulser and filtered by each recipient's settings. Echos are visible to the pulser as product functionality requires. Not this time responses are intended to remain private from other users except as aggregated counts where the product shows them.
Sync details may be visible to participants and to users whose late join requests are accepted. Circle owners and members may see membership information according to the current product permissions.
5. Service Providers
We use service providers to host the app, store data, process payments, send email, manage authentication, provide DNS or security infrastructure, and support development and operations. These providers process information on our behalf or as needed to provide their services.
Payment information is processed by Stripe. We receive subscription, customer, and billing status information from Stripe, but we do not store full payment card numbers.
6. Email, SMS, and Calendar Invitations
We may send transactional emails for account verification, password resets, Pulses, Echos, Syncs, reminders, billing, support, feedback, and service changes. If SMS notifications are added, carrier charges may apply.
Calendar invitation preferences may affect whether you receive calendar-compatible Sync details. Calendar invites can contain plan details, so choose the setting that fits your privacy expectations.
7. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We may use cookies, local storage, or similar technologies for sign-in, security, preferences, theme mode, session handling, and basic service operation. If we add analytics, advertising pixels, or other non-essential tracking, we should update this policy and provide any required choices.
8. Retention
We keep information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain accounts, support billing, prevent abuse, comply with law, resolve disputes, and maintain backups. Product features may make Pulses short-lived, but some related information may remain in backups, logs, notifications, support records, or security records for a limited period.
9. Deletion and Choices
You can manage many settings in the app, including notification preferences, theme mode, blocks, muted circles, and subscription management. You may request account or data help by contacting support.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal information. We will respond to valid requests as required by applicable law.
10. Legal, Safety, and Abuse Disclosures
We may access, preserve, or disclose information if we believe it is reasonably necessary to comply with law, enforce our Terms, investigate abuse, prevent fraud, protect users, protect the service, or respond to a valid legal process.
11. Children
I'm open 2 is intended for adults and is not directed to children or teens under 18. If we learn that a person under 18 has created an account, we may delete or restrict the account.
12. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No internet service is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee that unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure will never occur.
13. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy as the service, providers, or legal requirements change. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users.
14. Contact
Privacy questions or requests can be sent to support@imopen2.com. You can also review the Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
